Job summary

LITEON Careers - U.S. is seeking a skilled professional to design and implement Digital Twin platforms for smart factories.

You will develop high-fidelity 3D virtual production lines for SMT and assembly, and apply DES and AI methods to optimize capacity and layouts. You will build AI models for computer vision and reinforcement learning to improve AGV paths, robotics, and scheduling while integrating real-time MES/IoT data.

Qualifications

• Experience building Digital Twin platforms for manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of discrete event simulation (DES) and AI techniques for bottleneck analysis.
• Proficiency in developing AI models for computer vision and reinforcement learning.
• Experience integrating real-time shop-floor data from MES/IoT via APIs.
• Ability to collaborate with IE, automation, and IT teams to deploy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Digital Twin platforms for smart factory environments, creating high-fidelity 3D virtual production lines for SMT and assembly processes.
• Perform process simulation and optimization using DES and AI to identify bottlenecks, optimize line layouts, and run what‑if scenarios.
• Develop and integrate AI models for computer vision and reinforcement learning to optimize AGV paths, robotic operations, or production scheduling.
• Integrate real-time MES/IoT data from APIs or messaging to map physical lines to digital twins.
• Operate and maintain MES and related digital platforms, ensuring data accuracy, availability, and production support.
• Collaborate with IE, automation, and IT to validate results and support deployment into production.
