Job summary

EmergenceTek Group Inc. seeks a Digital Transformation Analyst to manage and improve the Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, reporting, and integrations.

You will work on-site with internal teams in Niagara Falls, NY, gathering requirements and coordinating with ETG consultants and vendors. Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technology Analyst, SharePoint Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar tools.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate with business users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage day-to-day needs independently and know when to bring in more senior technical resources.
• Familiarity with integrations, SQL, Azure, data environments, or application development is a plus; advanced coding/architecture not required.

Responsibilities

• SharePoint and Microsoft 365: Manage and improve the existing SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environment, including organization, permissions, content, and usability.
• Requirements Gathering: Meet with internal teams to understand business and technical needs, document requirements and pain points, and help set priorities.
• Business and Technical Analysis: Evaluate current processes and systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
• Integration Support: Coordinate integration initiatives by gathering requirements and working with ETG consultants and vendors on coding, architecture, and advanced technical questions.
• Reporting and Analytics: Support Power BI reporting and analytics, including gathering requirements, validating data, coordinating enhancements, and helping internal teams become more self-sufficient.
• Process Improvement and Automation: Identify manual or inefficient workflows and help define opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Technical Coordination: Communicate requirements, track questions and deliverables, and keep initiatives moving across stakeholders, ETG consultants, and other vendors.
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Maintain requirements, process documentation, technical notes, and user guidance to improve consistency.

Job description

We are seeking a Digital Transformation Analyst to support and improve an established Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, reporting, and integrations.

This person will work on-site with internal teams to understand business needs, support existing technology, and coordinate improvement initiatives. They will connect business stakeholders with technical resources, bringing in ETG consultants and other vendors when work requires coding, architecture, integrations, or deeper technical expertise.

This role is a good fit for someone with a strong technical and analytical foundation who can own day-to-day needs and wants to develop broader technical skills over time.

• On-site in Niagara Falls, NY. Candidates from across the Buffalo-Niagara region are welcome but must be able to commute to the Niagara Falls office.
• Salary: $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience
• Full-time W-2 position with full benefits
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• W-2 only. No corp-to-corp arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technology Analyst, SharePoint Analyst, or in a similar role
• Hands‑on experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar reporting and automation tools
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with business users and technical teams
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage day-to-day needs independently and know when to bring in more senior technical resources
• Familiarity with integrations, SQL, Azure, data environments, or application development is a plus. Advanced coding and solution architecture experience are not required.

What Success Looks Like

The right person will become the day-to-day technology and business analysis resource for internal teams. When someone brings them a need, problem, or idea, they will understand the request, gather the right information, handle what falls within their skill set, and bring in ETG consultants when deeper technical expertise is needed.

Over time, this person will become more self-sufficient and take on greater technical responsibility as they learn the company’s systems and environment.
