Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] - Fort Sam Houston, TX (CONUS)

ProSidian Seeks a Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] - Fort Sam Houston, TX (CONUS) to support requirements for DoD/Military Sector Clients. This position currently best aligns with the Associate Manager Labor Category. Ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while engaging in productive dialogue targeting mission success.

This position aligns with functional/technical service requirements and client engagements in the DoD/Military Client Industry Sector. Candidates shall work to support requirements for Digital Training Facility Manager Functional Area Services and shall schedule and manage the use of Digital Training Facilities (DTF’s), as well as providing hands-on assistance to the Enterprise Management System (EMS) staff. This individual must oversee their assigned DTF, follow EMS direction to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers, and verify operation of hardware and software in the DTFs.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Scheduling the use of their respective DTFs and providing hands-on assistance to the PdM ATIS EMS staff
• Performing with hands-on equipment, operation, and on-site operations
• Adherence to EMS direction to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers and verify operation of hardware and software in the DTFs
• Maintenance of facility security and assisting students in using assets provided in DTFs
• Scheduling training in DTFs in coordination with Soldiers and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL POC)
• Reporting the operational status of the DTF(s) to the DL POC
• Interacting with EMS technicians
• Coordinating facility maintenance
• Monitoring and reporting the condition and inventory of IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture at their individual site locations

Experience:

• 5 years of management experience within the realm of IT support and/or management (Required)
• The ability to analyze and evaluate trainees to summarize, forecast, and identify requirements
• The ability to communicate orally and in writing to coordinate and schedule training sessions and prepare clear, concise reports and presentations

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor degree (preferably in computer science, information systems, information technology, computer engineering or related)

On-Site DTF Personnel shall have the following competencies:

• General knowledge of software applications and experience with operating IT equipment
• Customer service experience including resolving issues related to desktop IT resources

Further competencies required:

• U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen with a valid US Passport for potential travel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
• All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” by the USG’s designated Security Office.
