Job summary

Google's Digital Technology Manager, Data Center Operations is a leadership role directing a global team of program managers responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of data center projects, from design through handover into operations. You will work with executive leadership to set roadmaps, governance, and operational tooling across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

  • Partner closely with executive and cross-functional leadership to influence decisions regarding digital content, operational tooling, and AI integration.
  • Manage the governance, tools, and processes for critical engineering and building design documents, ensuring seamless handover documentation and high-quality drawings from construction to operations.
  • Drive the roadmap for the team's engineering content systems and establish sustainable operational models for AI-driven platforms.
  • Lead global change management efforts to integrate content management platforms with interfacing enterprise systems, optimizing user experience and operational reliability.

  • Deep understanding of building design, construction processes, fabrication projects, and associated workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership decisions, align stakeholders, and present technical roadmaps.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team of program managers across North America and South America, EMEA, and APAC regions. You will be responsible for defining the goal for our technical content ecosystem, driving leadership alignment, and ensuring that complex data center designs and construction assets are seamlessly transitioned into operations.
