Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Field Integration and Assembly within Data Center Operations. The role focuses on coordinating multi-group, multi-disciplinary construction projects and developing prefabrication work packages for North American data centers.

You will mentor teams and drive high-impact programs across multiple sites including Austin, TX. Ideal candidates hold a technical Bachelor's degree and have demonstrated program management experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • 2 years of experience managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary construction projects and designs.
  • Experience creating prefabrication work packages for construction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and support of team initiatives and goals.
  • Develop charters, align strategies and objectives with stakeholders, set success criteria, and align resources.
  • Support prefabrication execution strategies and advanced work packaging for North American data center construction with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Manage project progress, risks, and mitigations; analyze challenges and communicate updates to leadership.
  • Gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions from construction to deployment, engaging supply chain partners to scale best practices.
  • Resolve critical issues to protect timelines and costs, driving consensus across partners.
