Job summary

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, maintain a GPA of 3.0+, and are familiar with Linux/open source tools. Responsibilities include schematic capture and PCB layout with C/C++ coding.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (in progress).
• GPA 3.0 or higher required at minimum.
• Experience in one or more programming languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Research Engineers in system engineering tasks.
• Perform DSP design and simulation in MATLAB.
• Implement digital systems with VHDL and FPGA hardware.
• Test and characterize digital, analog, RF components and systems.
• Develop automated test scripts in NI LabVIEW.
• Analyze measured test data.
• Assemble and wire custom modules and chassis.
• Generate schematics and PCB layouts.
• Develop C/C++ code.
