Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Member of the Technical Staff focused on Digital & Systems Engineering to advance DE/MBSE approaches for space and defense systems. You will advise government customers on effective DE/MBSE use and work within a team to research and implement models across programs.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree, 3.0 GPA minimum, experience with DSE languages/tools, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with strong academic record.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Evidence of modeling space, ground, or launch systems at conceptual/functional/ logical/physical levels.
• Some practical work experience with DSE modeling languages and tools.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• College transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze digital system engineering models across fidelity levels to support space, ground, launch, and defense programs.
• Create DSE model patterns, libraries, and templates for reuse across programs.
• Build and curate digital system models used in design studies, performance, reliability, and cost analyses.
• Integrate DSE concepts into internal R&D and digital transformation initiatives.
• Advise government customers on adopting DSE concepts within lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with internal communities and societies, author papers, and participate in working groups.
