Schneider Electric Federal is seeking a Digital Systems Design Engineer II to deliver systems hardware engineering and application design for federal projects. You will translate customer specs into opportunities, consult teams, and support training and technical information on applications.

Role entails leading design drawings, specifications, calculations, and complex product solutions for internal and external customers, with active vendor relationships and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, math, CS or similar; or any bachelor’s with 3+ years HVAC experience.
• 3+ years in HVAC controls industry with lead design and coordination for large projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls applications and product design for building automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design drawings, specifications, calculations for Schneider Electric product offerings.
• Provide complex product and solutions design and support for internal and external customers.
• Advise on sales captures, analyze site needs, and propose technical solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to translate customer needs into actionable project specs.
• Maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships and shape future products.
• Support training and technical information dissemination on applications.
