Job summary

PDS Optical is seeking a Digital Technician for our Fort Lauderdale Optical Lab. This onsite role handles the optical manufacturing equipment to block, generate, polish, apply backside coating, and laser lenses to the designated curve on the concave side. Training is provided; no prior experience is required.

Work hours are Monday–Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm with a starting pay of $16 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and encourage veterans and military spouses to apply.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is necessary; training provided.
• Onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Block incoming lenses.
• Transfer alloy from de-blockers to blockers.
• Must learn how to run all machines within the digital surface department.
• Keep workflow going at a steady pace.
• Must be able to stand and work on your feet for 8 hours.
