Job summary

Arconic is seeking an IT/IS student to collaborate with business groups, document needs, and design low-code automation using Power Platform technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). You will test configurations, migrations, and customizations while following Arconic IS standards.

Qualifications

• Credits toward a bachelor's degree in IS/IT or similar, from an accredited institution.
• Relevant IT coursework completed successfully.
• Basic understanding of algorithms, systems analysis and design, database concepts, and networking concepts.
• Must have an expected graduation date Fall 2027, Spring/Summer of 2028, or Spring/Summer of 2029.
• Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the ITAR, which requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Work with business groups to gather and document business needs and processes.
• Develop enterprise business automation solutions using the toolset of the assigned projects.
• Assist in designing, developing, and supporting business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Work with business teams to perform application testing of configurations, migrations, and customizations.
• Operate within Arconic IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT Standards.
• Work across a global IT team to share information and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT Applications teams to learn internal development processes and standards.
• Learn and apply the applicable toolsets to solve real-world business problems.
• Add value to the company through key IT projects and task deliverables.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives through the development of low-code applications, automated workflows, and business intelligence solutions.
• Bring a new perspective and new ideas to IT efforts and processes.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with a wide variety of people, via face-to-face, over the phone, via email, via Microsoft Teams, and in writing.
