UTMB Health's Moody Medical Library seeks a Digital Services Librarian to maintain, customize, and troubleshoot digital resources, including the discovery service, subscription databases, and library website.

You will work with the Head of Technical Services to monitor holdings, optimize discovery results, conduct accessibility testing, generate usage reports, and represent the library at campus meetings.

Formación

• Master's degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Experience with HTML/CSS and web technologies.
• Familiarity with library discovery services and subscription databases.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains accurate representation of digital and print resources in the discovery service.
• Monitors holdings updates in the library system and resolves issues with the Head of Technical Services.
• Customizes discovery interface and troubleshoots linking problems.
• Optimizes search results via deduplication, grouping, ranking, and linking.
• Conducts user testing and accessibility reviews of the library website.
• Generates statistical reports on holdings, discovery usage, and site traffic.
• Represents the Library at campus and consortia meetings.
• Participates in special projects and adheres to internal controls.
