Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, MassDOT, seeks a Digital Services Team Lead (Digital Technical Architect) to guide digital strategy, accessibility coordination, and web-content governance across MassDOT's online platforms.

You will lead the Digital Services team, manage projects and service delivery, collaborate with the Chief Accessibility Officer, and ensure high quality, accessible online information and services through standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, assign, track projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, CMS, and publishing tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to establish quality-control processes for websites and digital content.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategy, standards, policies, and priorities for digital communications.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Digital Services team, including hiring and coaching.
• Plan workload, resources, projects, and service commitments for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with MassDOT departments, Public Affairs, Legal, and stakeholders.
• Support accessibility coordination with the Chief Accessibility Officer.
• Establish QA and continuous improvement processes for digital content and services.
• Oversee selection and use of digital tools, vendors, and service providers.
• Coordinate work intake, prioritization, and service-delivery planning.
