Koenig & Bauer (US) is seeking a Digital Sales Specialist – VariJET 106 to lead digital sheetfed sales for folding carton applications. You will coordinate with our German manufacturer, regional managers, and the JV team to secure nationwide business.

Remote role based near a major airport with travel to customer locations and Europe. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales and may travel frequently; schedule includes extended trips for trade shows and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent folding carton/inkjet experience.
• Understanding of inkjet head technology and digital print applications.
• Computer skills with Google and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive Digital sheetfed sales and activity to meet annual targets.
• Collaborate with sales and tech support to penetrate the digital market nationally.
• Understand business models, TCO and benefits of digital printing in folding carton.
• Contribute to development and execution of strategies for digital press equipment.
• Produce monthly opportunity and prospect reports and market analyses.
• Maintain accurate customer data in Salesforce and generate reports.

Job Responsibility: The Digital Sales Specialistwill work with the sales and technical support teams from our manufacturer in Germany, as well as the joint venture, along with regional sales managers to secure business in the folding carton industry for digital printing.

Compensation: $ 75,000.00 to $100,000.00 Annually

Location: Remote should be located in the proximity of a major airport which allows frequent domestic and international travel to customer locations and Europe. As the corporate office is in Dallas, Texas, travel to Dallas will be required.
Standard Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. ( Schedule varies and may include early mornings, evenings, late nights and weekend work ) Employee may be required to be away from home for extended periods of up to one week at a time, or longer, as may be required for certain trade shows

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and implementing Digital sheetfed sales and activities as well as meeting company annual targets for sales unit count
• As the sales driver, functions include working together with the sales team and independently to execute strategies and perform plans to penetrate and grow the Digital market nationally
• Must understand the business and financial models for all applications, TCO and benefits of digital printing in the folding carton industry
• Provideinputandassistinthedevelopmentandexecutionofbusinessstrategiesfordigitalpress equipment
• Achievementofassignedyearlysalesgoals
• Demonstratesanunderstandingofthekeybusinessrequirementsoftheircustomersand prospects for both current and future business needs
• Mustcoordinateandorganizefactoryandcustomerdemonstrationstoensuremarketsuccess
• Educateorganizationonproductapplications,marketconditions,technologychanges,market trends and other related requirements
• Provideaccurateandtimelyexpensereporting
• Maintaincorporateimageandprofessionalism
• Produce monthly opportunity and prospect reports, lost order reports and a market analysis
• On a yearly basis, create a business plan and the accompanying budget
• Input and maintain all customer contact information including but not limited to general contact names, existing equipment base, competitive activity and any other information required in the SalesForce.com (SFDC) database
• Routine reporting of activities and customer visit reports via Salesforce
• Attend training programs, trade shows and have active involvement in appropriate industry association meetings

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or five years in folding carton experience or extensive inkjet experience

Experience: Understand inkjet head technology and the benefits of value-added applications, Extensive knowledge of the graphic communication industry and Knowledge of DFE (digital front end) systems

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft applications.
