Job description

Our client is seeking a Sales Planner to join our dynamic Planning team! For this role, we’re looking for a highly detail-oriented and organized individual. Responsibilities:
  1. Support a dedicated book(s) of business, managing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entry across assigned brands and business verticals.
  2. Partner internally with Sales and Revenue Management to implement packaging and pricing strategies, as defined by Revenue Management rate cards and guidelines.
  3. Maintain the pipeline in collaboration with your Sales team.
  4. Execute budget revisions including incremental spend, optimizations, makegoods, and cancellations.
  5. Collaborate with departments such as Ad Ops, Inventory Analytics, Streaming Solutions, and Measurement Solutions to fulfill client requests and support sales proposals.
  6. Partner with the Ad Ops team to execute campaigns, maximize delivery against contracted goals, and address client reporting needs.
  7. Collaborate with the Finance team to assist with billing processes.
  8. Communicate effectively with agency contacts to address RFP deliverables and ad hoc requests.
  9. Identify areas for improvement within the pre-sale process and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  10. Assist in preparing and following up for client meetings, reviewing industry and account-specific information as needed.
Experience:
  1. 2+ years of professional experience; media sales planning and/or buying experience is strongly preferred.
  2. Enthusiasm to work in a collaborative Ad Sales team environment.
  3. A positive demeanor and approach in daily tasks.
  4. Effective problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  8. Motivated to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  9. Knowledge of media math and terminology is advantageous.
  10. Familiarity with Operative One and the TV landscape is beneficial.

The target compensation range is $34.28 to $38.09 per hour, based on education, experience, certifications, and location.
