Job summary

Penguin Random House in NYC is seeking an analytically minded Assistant to join the Online and Digital Sales team. You will support sales managers across Amazon, Apple, Audible, and other accounts, distribute reports, and help prepare for meetings with publishers.

This hybrid role requires at least one in-office day per week at 1745 Broadway, with potential to work from nearby commutable locations. A strong interest in publishing and digital sales is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort working with numbers.
• Proactive and organized with ability to juggle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of orders and sales reports for online accounts.
• Prepare materials and presentations for account meetings and launches.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally with Metadata, Amazon Marketing Services, and Customer Service.
• Compile and circulate data from internal databases and run ad hoc reports.
• Assist in backlist merchandising and seasonal account presentations.
• Provide general administrative support and calendar coordination.
