Job summary

EY's Digital Risk practice seeks a Manager in the Northeast to lead risk and control initiatives for cloud-native, AI-enabled environments. Based in New York, you will partner with finance, IT, and engineering to design scalable, audit-ready frameworks and to drive risk assessments, control design, and testing across SDLC/PDLC.

You will mentor teams, manage delivery, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting while supporting high-growth technology programs. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in Digital Risk, IT risk, or technology consulting with exposure to TMT sector clients.
• Hands-on AWS, microservices, DevOps/CI/CD, SDLC/PDLC, and distributed systems.
• Experience supporting IT general controls (ITGCs), risk assessments, and control design/tests.
• Understanding of SOX/internal controls in modern engineering environments.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage workstreams across cloud platforms, microservices, and AI-enabled environments, including risk assessments and testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (finance, IT, engineering) to deliver actionable insights.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery, coordinate team work, and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and engagement performance.
• Provide technical guidance on cloud, platform, and engineering risk.
• Design and evaluate controls across DevOps, CI/CD, SDLC/PDLC, APIs, data environments, and AI systems.
