Job summary

Library Systems & Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Electronic Resources Librarian to support a federal library in the Dayton, OH area. You will manage electronic journals, databases, digital collections, and the library website, ensuring secure, reliable access for more than 1,200 Government users worldwide.

In this role you will administer metadata, authentication services, and CMS configurations while collaborating with technical staff to advance information services in a highly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MLIS/MLS preferred.
• 3+ years managing electronic resources, digital collections, or library tech.
• Experience with CMS, library websites, digital repositories.
• Knowledge of metadata standards and resource description practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain government security credentials.

Responsibilities

• Manage library website and CMS for reliable 24/7 access to licensed resources.
• Administer electronic journals, databases, and digital content for a global user base.
• Create and maintain descriptive metadata for resources and translations.
• Configure authentication, remote access, proxy services, and access controls.
• Monitor access, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors.
