• Strong news judgment to publish quickly and responsibly.
• Proficient writing, editing, proofreading, and copywriting.
• Ability to use analytics to understand performance and adjust content.

Responsibilities

• Manage timely news content on station websites and social platforms; drive traffic and engagement.
• Produce digital content including breaking/news articles, social content, newsletters, videos, and podcasts.
• Collaborate with programming, news, and promotions teams.
• Manage official social media accounts for the station and post on its behalf.
• Generate original ideas to grow online audience and digital business goals.
• Monitor reader interactions and use analytics to guide content decisions.
• Fact-check viral claims to maintain credibility in a fast-paced setting.
• Edit video and create graphics for social media as needed.
