Job summary

FOX News Media is seeking a Multimedia Reporter in Atlanta, GA to shoot, produce, edit, and report compelling content for FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, FOX Weather, and other platforms. You’ll respond to breaking news regionally and nationally, develop enterprise stories for a national audience, and work across multiple FOX platforms.

The role requires 2-4 years of on-air field reporting, strong writing and storytelling skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

2-4 years of professional on-air field reporting experience across broadcast and digital
Strong grasp of national news & campaign politics
Natural affinity for storytelling and a strong work ethic
Outstanding time management skills and deadline discipline
Exceptional writing, research, and on-air presentation including AP style
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Initiate and create news content for daily stories and breaking news across FOX platforms
Research, write, produce, edit, and report original news stories with video, graphics, and audio
Shoot, edit, and transmit field content using FOX equipment for daily/breaking news
Coordinate with management and editors to develop story packages
Travel frequently to cover breaking news within region and nationwide
Build and maintain a network of sources and contacts for story leads
