Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to shape digital operations across our Refining Digital landscape. You will partner with operators and end users to deliver digital capabilities that enhance safety, reliability and efficiency at 15 refineries, using cutting-edge tools like Digital Twins and connected worker solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into actionable digital solutions, perform ROI analyses, and support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field (preferred).
2+ years of relevant experience required.
Experience with data contextualization or industrial digital twin tech is a plus.
Experience in refining/manufacturing/OT environments is preferred.
Experience building or supporting digital tools for rounds, logbooks, or digital permits is desirable.

Responsibilities

Define and optimize business processes to measure, analyze, improve and control operations.
Lead initiatives from concept through implementation with focus on outcomes and adoption.
Communicate requirements clearly with stakeholders and map cross-functional impacts.
Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align priorities and deliver digital initiatives.
Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses to inform system decisions.
Support testing, prototyping, and user story documentation for technology delivery.
