Digital Project Manager, Web and ShopApp Operations

Work Model: On-site at the Cheil office, 5 days a week

Employment Type: Full-time

We are Built to Connect.

At Cheil Worldwide, we create connected experiences that move people with work that’s bold enough to stand out, clear enough to be understood, and enduring enough to be remembered. Born from technology and built from one of the world’s largest tech ecosystems, we move with innovation, not after it.

Today, brands exist in a constant stream of interactions, where every moment is an opportunity to connect…or be ignored. That’s why we design connected experiences across online, offline and emerging touchpoints, blending data, insights, creativity, and technology to build what’s next, not just respond to what’s now.

Our approach integrates experiential with data-driven, creatively led marketing, grounded in cultural relevance and built to grow brands.

About the Role

Cheil USA is looking for a Digital Project Manager, Web and ShopApp Operations to keep cross-division web and app pages moving from request to launch. You’ll be the day-to-day connector between business stakeholders, page owners, authors and publishers, QA, creative, and technical partners. Your work will shape high-visibility pages on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and ShopApp.

You’ll bring order to intake, requirements, approvals, and handoffs, and you’ll use operational data to help the business see demand, dependencies, and risks before they become delays. Business stakeholders make the final calls on priorities and approvals. Your job is to give them clear options, backed by evidence, so they can decide quickly.

This role suits someone who is organized, communicates early and clearly, follows through, and is curious about what the numbers say.

What You’ll Do
  • Run cross-division page requests on AEM and ShopApp. Take requests from intake through execution, review, approval, and launch, keeping scope, owners, dependencies, milestones, and next steps clear.
  • Clarify requirements before work starts. Confirm the business objective, platform, content and assets, target market, timing, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and approvals. Surface gaps and conflicts early and get stakeholders aligned on next steps.
  • Coordinate delivery across teams and time zones. Keep handoffs smooth and escalation paths clear across authors, publishers, QA, creative, business, and technical partners.
  • Keep JIRA accurate and useful. Maintain status, owners, due dates, dependencies, blockers, decisions, and follow-up actions so everyone can see where work stands.
  • Manage readiness for launch. Coordinate review and approval workflows, confirm required checks are complete before recommending publish, and track pre- and post-launch validation through to closure.
  • Report and plan with data. Pull together demand, throughput, aging, and blocker data from operations. Spot trends across divisions and page types, and present findings with clear assumptions and data limits.
  • Improve how work gets done. Find recurring friction in intake, handoffs, approvals, and quality, recommend practical fixes, and document workflows to support onboarding.
What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

  • 3–5 years in digital project management, web or content operations, e-commerce operations, or a related delivery role, including coordinating work from intake through review, approval, and launch or publication.
  • Hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You have worked in AEM authoring or publishing workflows and can navigate the platform to understand how a page gets delivered. This is a core requirement for the role.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA or a comparable enterprise workflow tool, including ticket hygiene, ownership, status tracking, dependencies, and operational reporting.
  • Experience supporting digital experiences on web and/or mobile app platforms, coordinating across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets (such as Excel) to organize operational data and communicate trends, risks, and planning implications.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Good judgment in a matrixed environment. You can clarify ambiguity, raise risks early, and tell the difference between coordinating work and deciding it.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Plano, Texas, five days a week, and collaborate with teams across time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cross‑division or multi‑brand digital properties, home pages, partner programs, or other high‑visibility content.
  • Experience across both web CMS and mobile app or content platforms. Familiarity with ShopApp is a plus.
  • Experience with demand forecasting, capacity planning, operational dashboards, or business reporting.
  • Familiarity with analytics or BI tools and concepts. Advanced analytics engineering is not required.
  • Background in a large enterprise, consumer electronics, retail, e‑commerce, or agency environment.
  • Experience coordinating distributed teams with business, creative, authoring, QA, and technical stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like
  • Cross‑division requests are clearly scoped, tracked, and coordinated across AEM and ShopApp.
  • Business stakeholders have timely, reliable visibility into demand, capacity, trends, and delivery risks to support prioritization.
  • Requests start with clearer requirements, ownership, milestones, and approval paths, with fewer avoidable delays.
  • Launch readiness issues surface early, with accountable owners and documented follow‑up.
A Note on the Working Model

This is a full‑time, on‑site position Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm, based at the Cheil office in Plano, Texas. The role regularly collaborates with teams in North America and other global time zones. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required for critical launches, urgent escalations, publishing windows, or cross‑region handoffs.
