Job summary

Allstate Dealer Services seeks a Product Manager with 5+ years of experience to drive discovery, define requirements, and shape the roadmap for modernization of the Admin System platform. You will collaborate with engineering, architecture, business, and operations teams to simplify processes, migrate legacy systems, and deliver value through data-driven backlog prioritization.

You will lead cross-functional efforts to enable digital transformation and ensure the voice of the customer guides

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in Product Management.
• Experience working with software engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong discovery, requirements gathering, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and analyze complex business processes and system interactions.
• Experience with platform modernization, system migration, digital transformation, or legacy replacement initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product discovery to understand needs and opportunities.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, business, and operations to define requirements and roadmap.
• Analyze business processes, systems, integrations, and workflows for simplification and modernization.
• Author, refine, test, and accept user stories and requirements.
• Manage and prioritize product backlog items according to business and customer needs.
• Define and monitor product metrics to measure outcomes and inform prioritization.
• Gather and synthesize stakeholder feedback and data to support decisions.
• Participate in discovery and test-and-learn activities to validate assumptions and reduce delivery risk.
• Collaborate with technology teams to understand system constraints, dependencies, and implementation options.
• Support modernization and migration by documenting current-state processes and future-state requirements.
• Represent the voice of the customer balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical considerations.
• Work cross-functionally to modernize Allstate Dealer Services' core Admin System platform.
• No supervisory duties.

• Partner with engineering, architecture, business, and operational stakeholders to define requirements and support product roadmap development
• Analyze business processes, systems, integrations, and workflows for simplification, modernization, and improved user experiences
• Author, refine, test, and accept user stories and requirements
• Manage and prioritize product backlog items according to business and customer needs
• Define and monitor product metrics to measure outcomes and inform prioritization
• Gather and synthesize stakeholder feedback, customer insights, and data to support product decisions
• Participate in discovery and test-and-learn activities to validate assumptions and reduce delivery risk
• Collaborate with technology teams to understand system constraints, dependencies, and implementation options
• Support modernization and migration initiatives by documenting current-state processes, defining future-state requirements, and identifying gaps
• Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for solutions balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical considerations
• Work cross-functionally to modernize Allstate Dealer Services' core Admin System platform
• No supervisory duties

Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in Product Management
• Experience working with software engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Strong discovery, requirements gathering, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and analyze complex business processes and system interactions
• Experience with platform modernization, system migration, digital transformation, or legacy replacement initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and break down complex problems into manageable pieces
• Must submit to a background investigation
• Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
