Nexstar Media Group Inc. is seeking a Digital Producer / OBS/VMIX Specialist to lead multi-platform newsroom content, support live TV and streaming productions, and train staff in OBS/VMIX operations. The role requires strong troubleshooting, communication, and a newsroom mindset.

You will develop and maintain OBS/VMIX scene collections, program Stream Deck integrations, and collaborate with producers and engineers to ensure high-quality broadcasts across platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in journalism; daily newspaper or news site experience preferred.
• Experience with OBS Studio and Stream Deck programming.
• Knowledge of live television production and studio operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and training skills.
• Proficiency in AP style; Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Basic HTML preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate OBS and VMIX during live broadcasts daily.
• Train staff on OBS/VMIX functions, scene creation, and hardware operation.
• Prepare OBS/VMIX for live productions and ensure equipment is air-ready.
• Coordinate with Executive Producers, Anchors and Engineering for smooth broadcasts.
• Troubleshoot OBS/VMIX, Stream Deck, and related production equipment issues.
