Job summary

Envista's Ormco division is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic equipment in a continuous production environment. You will monitor meters, read engineering drawings and SOPs, perform calibration and testing, and assemble sub‑assemblies as required.

Attention to detail, strong teamwork, and good organizational skills are essential. Candidates should be able to read RX's and work order notes in English and use a computer to download, manipulate and store

Qualifications

• Must be able to work well in a team.
• Must have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work by dates.
• Must pay close attention to details and sort work by department and appliance group.
• Must read and interpret RX's, TSI's, work order notes, and other DHR documents in English.
• Must be able to use a computer to download, manipulate and store files.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Follows engineering drawings, SOPs, and other written/verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
• Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to documentation.
• Performs set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units.
