RRD is hiring for a 2nd Shift printing support role in Wisconsin. You will review client files, set up and release jobs to the Digital Press, and monitor output quality throughout the production process.

Responsibilities include handling bindery equipment, packaging for shipping, and communicating issues to Customer Service and production staff. Eligible candidates will work 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of digital file formats (pdf, tiff, eps) from Mac and PC.
• Basic color management skills and ability to work with different digital formats.

Responsabilités

• Review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing on a Digital Press.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
• Monitor the quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Utilize bindery equipment to complete jobs (cutter, tabletop folder, creaser, shrink tunnel).
• Package jobs and prepare for shipping.
• Review electronic files for thoroughness and completeness before plate making.
• Identify missing or problematic components and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Work with Customer Service reps and production personnel to resolve issues.
• Prepare color proofs for customer review.
