Job summary

AlphaGraphics US 219 in Golden, CO is hiring a Digital Print Production Operator. You will set up and operate cut-sheet digital printers, calibrate colors, and ensure color accuracy to Pantone standards while maintaining equipment and logs.

You will also support the large format team on vehicle graphics and wall murals, participating in installations when needed. This role offers training and opportunities for growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Digital printing experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to maximize efficiency and equipment use.
• Basic bindery knowledge.
• Familiarity with Fiery Print Controller is a plus.
• Experience with Command Workstation for digital workflow.
• Graphic design skills are a plus but not required.
• Customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital commercial printers using Fiery Command Workstation.
• Assist large format department with installations and production when available.
• Impose files for print and run USPS mail software.
• Work with Production Scheduler to prioritize daily jobs.
• Produce orders accurately, efficiently, and with high quality.
• Update job status and location in MIS system.
• Run a proof copy and compare to work order.
• Check for waste and redos by quality checking during production.
• Complete QA documents for printed jobs.
• Track waste, spoilage, usage, and inventory for digital printers.
• Maintain logs for digital printing equipment.
• Keep work environment clean and organized.
• Perform required maintenance and learn extended maintenance from technician.
• Ensure service clicks credited by technician, including for poor-quality copies.
• Calibrate and manage color devices to maintain consistency.
• Monitor color consistency during print runs and adjust as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
