Job summary

AlphaGraphics in Golden, CO is seeking a Digital Print Production Operator responsible for setup and printing on cut-sheet digital printers. Calibrate printers and color-match Pantone colors, while maintaining service and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Digital printing experience preferred.
• Ability to organize several activities and tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, if needed.
• Ability to maximize profit through efficient use of time and equipment.
• Can perform basic bindery functions.
• Familiar with Fiery Print Controller, a plus.
• Proficient with Command Workstation to control digital workflow.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital commercial printers using Fiery Command Workstation.
• Assist in large format department with installations & production work when available.
• Impose files for print & run USPS mail software.
• Work with Production Scheduler to prioritize and manage daily job production.
• Produce orders accurately, efficiently, and with high quality.
• Update job status and location in MIS system.
• Run proof copies and compare to work orders.
• Monitor waste and reprints by quality checking during production.
• Complete Quality Assurance documents for all prints.
