Job summary

SeaChange Printing and Marketing Services LLC is seeking a Digital Press Operator to operate and troubleshoot Digital Presses and finishing equipment, ensuring daily production and quality goals are met in a safe, efficient manner. You will handle variable and static data printing, PHI, and secure mail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years in a similar role.
• Ability to read a ruler and measure printed products.
• Strong written and verbal communication to interpret production tickets.
• Time management with the ability to work independently.
• High attention to detail for quality inspections.
• Professionalism to manage needs of internal and external clients.
• Troubleshooting mechanical/setup issues on digital presses.

Responsibilities

• Raster Image Process (RIP) static/variable PDF files and set up press runs per the job ticket using DFE.
• Manipulate digital color calibration setup to meet color targets.
• Review all proofs and final samples before release to stakeholders.
• Perform standard quality checks to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct regular maintenance to maximize machine performance.
• Place and record maintenance and service calls as required.
• Set up, operate, and maintain digital color and black-and-white imaging equipment.
• Maintain and keep a clean work area.
• Monitor supply levels and assist with consumable orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
