Job summary

RRD is seeking a Digital Press Operator Apprentice for the 3rd shift to operate and maintain multiple press systems. The role includes setting up and adjusting presses, making-ready tasks, color corrections, and ensuring quality standards on every run.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Wisconsin with a competitive hourly pay band and an added shift premium. Rotating schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next) requires working every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Familiar with offset printing procedures and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and press requirements.
• Experience with make-ready tasks and color corrections.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a press environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates and installing cylinders.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs on presses.
• Conduct periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
