Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and determine press usage.
• Skill in making precise settings, adjustments, and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a number of press equipment.
• Perform all make-ready tasks including hanging plates and cylinder installation, inspecting plates for imperfections.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; perform minor repairs as required.
• Conduct periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
