Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Digital Press Operator in Des Plaines, IL to set up and run the HP Digital press for pressure sensitive labels. This onsite role includes training and growth opportunities within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Shifts are 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Base pay is experience-based, with a pay range of $21–$25 per hour and a strong benefits package upon hire.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience or training
• Experience operating a press in a printing environment, preferably a digital press
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Must be able to read and interpret ruler, scales and measurement devices

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality labels meeting job specifications and customer standards
• Input data (time, materials) into job management software
• Load jobs into press, refill inks, set up printing equipment
• Start press, adjust speed and stock alignment to print cylinder
• Inspect samples, make adjustments and ensure print quality
