Job description

Digital Press Operator 2nd and 3rd shift

Quad is seeking Second and Third Shift Digital Press Operators for our Quad Instore facility in West Allis. The role involves producing high-quality printed sheets, boards, or rolls. We offer paid relocation assistance for candidates with prior experience.

The main responsibilities include:

• Operating and troubleshooting digital presses, including Flatbed, Roll Presses, Durst presses, and Inca Onset devices.
• Interpreting, documenting, and communicating diagnostic feedback to resolve production, maintenance, and repair issues.
• Performing color matching of supplied materials.
• Reading and understanding job tickets and completing necessary paperwork.
• Communicating effectively with electronic prepress, press operators, customer service, vendors, and technicians.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Working 8-hour shifts on 2nd and 3rd shifts, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to differentiate colors, with a color test required.
• Strong math skills.
• Proficiency in navigating computer interfaces.
• Experience in prepress software, digital color control, or offset printing is a plus, but strong computer skills are acceptable.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to quality and safety.
• Ability to follow written instructions for job setup.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform reaching, bending, standing, and other physical tasks with or without accommodations.
