Job summary

Liliuokalani Trust is seeking a Specialist, Digital Platforms to manage its external digital presence, including onipaa.org. You will craft engaging content, optimize for accessibility and AI-powered discovery, and oversee website performance and CMS updates.

This role blends storytelling with basic technical duties and supports LT’s intranet and DAM systems. Ideal candidates have a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least one year of website or digital communications experience, with familiarity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, digital media, information technology, web design, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year in website administration or digital communications.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Solid project management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop, write, edit, and publish website content aligned with brand voice.
Translate initiatives into engaging digital content and optimize for search visibility.
Collaborate with Communications to gather information for web-ready content.
Maintain CMS updates, content calendars, and publishing schedules.
Monitor site performance, accessibility, and UX; coordinate enhancements.
Support SEO, schema markup, metadata, and AI-driven content discovery.
Serve as liaison for web-related requests and manage web projects end-to-end.
Train staff on content submission processes and best practices.
