Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Scientist to join the Translational Medicine team to support Digital Pathology projects and operational execution. You will coordinate cross-functional activities, manage slide transfers, and ensure compliant, on-schedule workflows across scientific and operational teams.

The role is based in Rahway, NJ, onsite with hybrid work options 2-3 days/week and full-time schedule. A Life Sciences or related degree and 3+ years in relevant areas are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Life Sciences, Project Management, Clinical Operations, IT, Data Management, or related field.
• 3+ years in Project Management, Clinical Trial Operations, Biomarker Operations, Lab Operations, Imaging, or Data Management.
• Experience with digital pathology.
• Experience in clinical trials.
• Strong organizational skills with experience tracking deliverables.

About the Role

Parexel is looking for a scientist to join our Translational Medicine team. This role will support our Sponsors in project management and operational execution for Digital Pathology. You will coordinate cross-functional activities related to whole-slide image transfer, vendor follow-up, request tracking, process documentation, and stakeholder communications. Working closely with scientific team members and vendors, you will ensure Digital Pathology workflows are organized, compliant, and executed on schedule.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Clinical Trial Operations, Biomarker Operations, Lab Operations, Imaging, and Data Management
• Experience with digital pathology
• Experience in clinical trials
• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Life Sciences, Project Management, Clinical Operations, IT, Data Management, or related field
• Strong organizational skills with experience tracking deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharma/biotech industry experience
• Experience with informed consent in clinical trials
• Technical proficiency with:
• Microsoft Lists
• Power BI
• SharePoint and Teams
• AWS/S3-based workflows
• LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
