Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field.
• Strong AP-style writing skills and a track record for achieving newsroom goals.
• 5+ years in a television newsroom or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret content brand without resorting to clickbait.
• Proficiency in digital analytics and applying insights to goals.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise digital producers and collaborate with other newsroom staff; review stories and provide feedback to encourage strong storytelling.
• Manage and coordinate breaking news.
• Collaborate with the News Director and other station personnel as assigned.
• Plan, execute and oversee continuity and strategy for website and social platforms.
• Coach and develop the digital team, manage schedules and time cards, and perform annual reviews.
