Qualifications

• Experience managing content across multiple digital platforms.
• Strong people skills with coaching and leadership.
• Proven ability to grow digital and social traffic.
• 1–2 years in a television newsroom environment.
• College degree in Journalism or related field.
• Strong AP-style writing and ability to meet station goals.
• Ability to apply digital analytics to goals.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise digital producers and advise on storytelling.
• Manage and coordinate breaking news coverage.
• Collaborate with News Director and staff on strategy.
• Plan and oversee continuity for website and social platforms.
• Coach the team, conduct reviews and manage schedules.
