• Create high-quality surface models that communicate the design intent throughout the development process, from initial concepts to production-ready surfaces.

• Evaluate design concepts for feasibility, surface quality, and manufacturability, providing recommendations for optimization.

• Deliver surface models within established timelines, adhering to project milestones and quality standards.

• Prepare and present design reviews of surface models to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Support surface quality evaluations and ensure alignment with design and engineering criteria.

What's Needed?

• Degree in industrial design, transportation design, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in automotive design and engineering, focusing on prototype, advanced design development, and production.

• Proficiency in Alias software and automotive surface design best practices from concept to Class-A surfaces.

• Experience with Alias Sub-D and/or Blender is preferred.

• Strong understanding of product design development processes and component manufacturability.
