Your Role

The Digital Merchant is responsible for the end-to-end execution of product setup and catalog management across external channels. This role ensures products are accurate, discoverable, and easy to shop by partnering on site optimization across navigation, product categories, filters, and search to improve both sales and the customer experience.

Grounded in performance metrics and customer behavior, the Digital Merchant analyzes results to recommend improvements that support a seamless shopping journey while balancing channel-specific needs with broader VS&Co brand and business goals. This role requires a strong understanding of how product collections, user experience, channel dynamics, and financial plans work together to drive performance, along with a natural curiosity for product, customer, and competition.

The Digital Merchant collaborates closely with cross-functional partners including product strategy, site creative, merchandise planning, external channel teams, and agency partners to bring product to life in a way that drives discovery and conversion. Each Digital Merchant owns one or more brands or categories within the channel expansion business and plays a critical role in delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

Your Impact

Role Responsibilities

• Own accurate product setup, catalog management, and data flow for external channels
• Optimize site experience across navigation, categories, filters, variations, and search to improve discovery and conversion
• Use performance insights to identify opportunities and recommend site actions in weekly and milestone reviews
• Partner with external platforms and agencies such as Amazon and Rithum to apply best practices and improve execution
• Collaborate closely with product strategy, site creative, planning, and channel teams to deliver cohesive brand execution

Customer & Product Strategy

• Apply customer, competitive, and channel insights to improve the end-to-end shopping experience
• Translate site performance and marketing activity into actionable recommendations that drive growth
• Support execution of product launches, campaigns, SEO, and sequencing to deliver a seamless customer journey
• Stay current on platform updates and industry trends to continuously optimize performance

Financial Ownership

• Own sales, margin, and inventory productivity for assigned brands, categories, or channels
• Execute site merchandising strategies that support financial and assortment goals
• Analyze results and recommend in-season actions to improve performance

Role Ownership

• Execute pre-season and in-season site merchandising strategies in partnership with leadership
• Manage brand and category site layouts and product launches, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
• Track site and sales metrics to identify opportunities to improve engagement, conversion, and sales
• Monitor search performance and implement changes to maximize visibility
• Support monthly and seasonal digital hindsight's with data and insights

Minimum Salary:

$99,400.00

Maximum Salary:

$134,715.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
