Job summary

RS Group is seeking a Digital Merchandising Operations Executive to provide centralized support across the Digital Merchandising team. You will coordinate shared activities, maintain processes and reporting tools, and help deliver supplier- and category-focused initiatives.

• Experience with reporting tools, planning processes and CMS.

Job description

As the Digital Merchandising Operations Executive, you will provide centralised operational and digital merchandising support across the wider Digital Merchandising team. You will help the team work efficiently and consistently by coordinating shared activities, CI and maintenance of processes, reporting and planning tools, and supporting the delivery of supplier- and category-focused initiatives. Working closely with the Digital Merchandising & Operations Manager and colleagues across the business, you will use data, insight and sound judgement to improve execution, customer experience and digital performance.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the smooth delivery of digital merchandising activity across categories and suppliers, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
• Coordinate reporting, planning tools and operational processes, using data and insights to identify opportunities, risks and areas for improvement.
• Support the planning, execution and quality assurance of campaigns, promotions, content updates and other onsite merchandising activity.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Marketing, SEO, Digital Product, CX/UX and Supply Chain to align priorities and deliver business objectives.
• Monitor onsite performance, customer experience and competitor activity, making recommendations to optimise results.
• Drive continuous improvement by sharing best practice, supporting testing initiatives and identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise or automate processes.
• Act as a key point of contact for operational queries, coordinating with internal stakeholders, suppliers and agencies to keep activity on track.
• Support team projects, meetings and initiatives, providing clear updates and recommendations to stakeholders.

Experience & Requirements

• Experience in Digital Merchandising, Ecommerce or Digital Operations within a B2B or B2C environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using digital insight tools and data to identify opportunities and drive action.
• Good understanding of digital merchandising principles, KPIs and customer journey optimisation.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines and competing priorities.
• Experience working with reporting tools, planning processes, content management systems and digital merchandising platforms.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and enhancing customer experiences.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams.
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Enthusiastic about Ecommerce and delivering exceptional digital experiences for customers.
