Job summary

University of Hawai'i Community College – Chancellor's Office seeks a Digital Media & Marketing Specialist for Casual Hire to support photography, videography, graphic design, social media, and marketing content creation across programs and events. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work quickly on multiple projects while upholding high quality and on‑brand visuals.

This temporary position may last up to 89 days for full‑time staff or up to one calendar year

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Media or related field with at least one year of professional digital media experience.
• Experience shooting and editing photography and video for social media, web, and promo use.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, or Final Cut Pro.
• Experience creating graphics and visual content for digital and print platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce marketing materials including flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, and social media graphics.
• Shoot and edit professional-quality photography and video for social media, web, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
• Create short-form and long-form video content including interviews, commercials, event highlights, and promotional storytelling.
• Develop engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
• Help maintain consistent Hawaii CC branding, messaging, and visual identity.
