Job summary

Bowhead is seeking Digital Media Specialists for future opportunities supporting NSWC Dahlgren in VA. All work is on-site at IWSL Dahlgren; remote work is not available. You will handle digital media, data management, documentation, and accountability with strict procedures.

Roles range from entry-level to Senior/Lead. Salary varies by level: I–II hourly, III higher; Sr I–II from $58k–$85k annually. A security clearance is required and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; additional education or training may be considered.
• Experience varies by level; strong attention to detail and organization are essential.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed procedures and security requirements.
• Experience with computers, databases, electronic tracking systems, or document management software.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, track, store, issue, and prepare digital media and related materials.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical accountability records.
• Enter and update information in databases and tracking systems.
• Apply labels, markings, barcodes, and classification information.
• Prepare shipping, transmittal, delivery, and accountability documents.
• Track media and maintain distribution histories; conduct inventories.
• Support handling of controlled, sensitive, and classified materials.
• Coordinate with Government customers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Follow SOPs, security requirements, and customer processes.
