Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Digitization Specialist to support our government customer at Kirkland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will join a high-volume production team responsible for digitizing diverse media types for DTRA's DTRIAC, following procedures with attention to detail.

The role requires high school education, experience with digitization equipment a plus, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with digitization equipment preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide production digitization according to priorities set by the Ops Manager.
• Maintain a standard file naming convention and file structure.
• Ensure by-item traceability and tracking.
• Upload resulting digital files to the Data Lake, unless file sizes require alternate storage.
• Maintain a clean and food free environment for digitization activities.
• Follow original media preservation best practices.
• Ensure the other media are stored and handled in a secure area.
• Repair or clean if needed.
• Evaluate other media items, log markings, and enter into STARS.
• Evaluate newly received other media items for integrity and preservation needs.
• Meet production digitization output quotas and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
