Job summary

Lendz Financial is seeking a creative Digital Marketing Specialist to develop and execute marketing campaigns across email, social, website, and events. You’ll craft compelling content, shape messaging, and ensure brand consistency while collaborating with Marketing Ops, Design, HR, Events, and Sales to bring ideas to life.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, content creation, communications, campaign support, or brand marketing preferred.
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, financial services, real estate, or B2B marketing preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to create content across multiple formats, including email, social media, website, blogs, presentations, event materials, and sales collateral.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels, content calendars, email marketing, social media, SEO, landing pages, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing operations, design, events, sales, or other cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, project management platforms, or social scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, revisions, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Creative thinker who can help turn ideas into clear, polished, and effective marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging content for marketing campaigns across email, social media, website, landing pages, blogs, event promotions, and sales enablement materials.
  • Draft campaign copy, email messaging, subject lines, social media captions, website content, and other internal and external marketing communications.
  • Support integrated campaigns that promote Lendz Financial’s non-QM products, programs, events, brand initiatives, and internal culture.
  • Translate campaign ideas into clear, compelling messaging tailored to mortgage brokers, loan officers, industry partners, and internal sales candidates.
  • Assist in building campaign themes, messaging frameworks, content calendars, promotional timelines, and asset plans.
  • Repurpose existing content into new formats, including social posts, email campaigns, videos, blogs, one-pagers, flyers, and event materials.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and message across all marketing channels.
  • Identify fresh content opportunities based on industry trends, product updates, broker needs, sales priorities, and campaign performance.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude thoughtfully to enhance brainstorming, content development, creative concepting, and workflow efficiency while maintaining strong human judgment, originality, accuracy, and brand voice.
  • Support monthly social media planning, content calendar development, and content scheduling.
  • Post on LinkedIn on behalf of Sales weekly to support sales visibility, broker engagement, and brand consistency.
  • Organize and maintain campaign assets, content drafts, and project timelines.
  • Support website content updates, landing page copy, SEO-focused content improvements, and digital resource organization.
  • Review content for accuracy, grammar, formatting, brand consistency, compliance alignment, and overall quality before publishing.

About the Role

Lendz Financial is seeking a creative, highly organized Digital Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels. This role is focused on generating compelling content, shaping campaign messaging, and bringing marketing ideas to life through strong copy, clear storytelling, brand alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.

Working closely with the VP of Marketing, this position will create and support content for email campaigns, social media, website updates, landing pages, event promotions, and other digital marketing initiatives. The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with Marketing Operations, Human Resources, Events, Design, and Sales to ensure campaigns are organized, visually aligned, strategically executed, and consistent with the Lendz Financial brand.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, brainstorming, organizing ideas, creating content across formats, and working with internal teams to turn concepts into polished marketing deliverables. The right candidate is proactive, execution-focused, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.

What You’ll Do

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing Operations to support campaign setup, audience segmentation, email deployment, and campaign performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to brief creative needs, provide copy direction, review visual assets, and ensure final materials align with campaign goals and brand standards.
  • Work with the Events team to develop promotional content, themes, invitations, and social media coverage, when applicable.
  • Coordinate with Sales to align marketing content with sales priorities, product messaging, and business objectives.
  • Maintain a brand and campaign calendar that supports planning across digital channels and key marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our video production agency monthly to develop scripts for approximately 10 video assets, provide creative direction, and review and approve final content.

Research, Reporting & Optimization

  • Review email, social, website, and campaign performance data to understand what content is resonating with target audiences.
  • Use campaign results, broker feedback, sales input, and industry trends to recommend content improvements and new campaign ideas.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify content opportunities, industry themes, and messaging angles.
  • Support the ongoing optimization of Lendz Financial’s digital presence through content testing, performance review, and creative iteration.

What We’re Looking For
