What would you do if hired?
- Plan, develop, and manage national and regional email marketing campaigns from concept to deployment.
- Design email templates that are visually appealing, mobile-responsive, and optimized for engagement.
- Manage the email marketing calendar to ensure timely delivery of key messages, promotions, and announcements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content, coordinate messaging, and align campaigns with strategic and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor email analytics and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Ensure all email campaigns comply with industry regulations (i.e., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices.
- Maintain and segment the email database to support targeted campaigns and improve deliverability.
- Support additional marketing communications efforts, including social media, website updates, and printed materials as needed.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in email marketing, preferably within a membership organization or nonprofit.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Informz, Constant Contact, or similar).
- Experience with audience segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools is desirable.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
