Job summary

Sierra Club is seeking a Digital Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to support the development, production, implementation, and analysis of email fundraising and digital advertising across programs, including direct-to-donate and monthly donor initiatives. This role is based in Oakland or can be remote, reporting to the Digital Marketing & Fundraising Manager.

You will work with the Advancement team to set up campaigns, test and optimize, and track results.

Qualifications

Up to 3 years experience in digital advertising, email marketing, or digital fundraising.
Experience with email marketing/CRM; Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
Familiarity with Google and Facebook advertising platforms.
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Strong copywriting, QA, and editing skills.
Proficient in Excel or data analysis.
Basic Photoshop/graphic design skills.
HTML/CSS and basic programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

Set up and launch digital ad campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
Build and QA emails, forms, page content, ad content, and other campaign assets.
Track fundraising results to determine effectiveness of various efforts.
Propose, implement and analyze tests to optimize campaigns.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to identify shared goals, budgets, and opportunities.
Identify emerging networks and trends to test (and those not to test).
Create landing pages and blog content content.
Engage in equity, justice and inclusion learnings to support an equitable workplace.
