Job summary

Plexus is seeking a Digital Manufacturing Operations Engineer Sr to optimize and manage manufacturing processes using digital technologies. This on-site role provides critical support in Guadalajara, aligning operations with global strategy and improving efficiency through automation, analytics, simulation and ML.

You will work on the global Demo project, bridging gaps between current systems and new customer requirements, while delivering cost-effective digital solutions across production lines.

Purpose Statement

The Digital Manufacturing Operations Engineer Sr is responsible for optimizing and managing manufacturing processes and systems using digital technologies. This role provides critical on-site support in Guadalajara to address current system knowledge gaps and align operations with global strategy. You will utilize tools such as automation, data analytics, simulation, and machine learning to improve efficiency, quality, and agility, while implementing digital solutions that streamline production, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.

Key Job Accountabilities

SRV Support & Operational Alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact for daily SRV (Service) escalations and support. Align SRV operations with global strategy, ensuring that production workflows are optimized and consistent with organizational goals.

Strategic Digital Transformation: Actively participate in the global "Demo" project, specifically focusing on the transition from the legacy GSF system to Critical Manufacturing . Identify technical gaps between current systems and new customer requirements.
