The Claremont Colleges Services is seeking a Digital Production Associate to support digitization workflows for CCDL and Scholarship@Claremont. The role emphasizes quality control, metadata creation, and collaboration with open publishing teams.

The DPA will train student staff, manage digitization projects, and ensure accessibility and long-term preservation of digital objects. The position is full-time and office-based in Claremont, CA.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of digital production or related experience.
• Experience with digitization workflows and metadata documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in digitization and publishing workflows for CCDL and Scholarship@Claremont.
• Perform quality control on digitized and born-digital content including OCR and metadata.
• Support open publishing workflows, document procedures, and track project progress.
• Train and supervise student assistants on digitization tasks and file management.
• Communicate project status and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
