Job summary

The Claremont Colleges Services is seeking a Digital Production Associate to contribute to digitization workflows for CCDL and Scholarship@Claremont. You will help ensure accessibility, quality, and long-term digital preservation while coordinating with the Head of Digital Initiatives and Open Publishing.

The role supports metadata creation, file management, and AV reformatting, and involves training student assistants to maintain high standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of digital production experience.
• Experience managing digital assets and workflows.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participates in digital production and publishing workflows for CCDL and Scholarship@Claremont.
• Performs quality control of digitized and born-digital content (OCR, metadata, file management).
• Supports Open Publishing workflows and project tracking.
• Train and supervise student assistants in digitization tasks.
• Document procedures and track progress; communicate issues to supervisory staff.
• Respond to LibAnswers inquiries.
• Oversee scan-on-demand processes.
