Job summary

Arlington Public Schools - VA is seeking a 1.0 FTE Instructional Technology Coordinator at Innovation Elementary to advance digital learning and integrate SOLs into classroom practice. The ITC will collaborate with the principal, Supervisor of Digital Learning & Innovation, teachers, and staff to provide PD, curricular design, coaching, and classroom support using Canvas and other tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Technology, Education, or a related field.
A Master's Degree is preferred.
Two years minimum experience; licensure required by the Virginia State Board of Education.
Eligibility for Virginia Licensure/Endorsement through reciprocity may be acceptable.
Experience training teachers or adults in integrating technology for instruction.
Strong knowledge of VA SOLs and CS SOLs; stay current with state changes.

Responsibilities

Coach teachers on digital resources and model instruction aligned with VA standards.
Provide professional development and support for digital learning and personalized student learning.
Collaborate with teachers, principals, and IT staff to integrate technology into instruction and assessment.
Lead district-wide technology initiatives and promote best practices for digital learning.
Support staff with Core tools training and AI resources while ensuring safe use.
