Job summary

Lead For America’s American Connection Corps (ACC) invites applications for a full-time Digital Outreach & Community Project Coordinator with the Spring Green Community Library. The ACC member will provide tech help to the public, assist with coordinating a community advisory committee, and support staff in delivering tech inclusion programs across the River Valley District.

The position emphasizes hands-on service, training sessions, drop-in help, and community engagement, with a year-long term

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 17 years of age or older by start of service.
• Have not already served four AmeriCorps State/National terms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for individuals and small groups, tailored to diverse needs and skill levels.
• Staff drop-in technology help sessions under staff guidance.
• Conduct one-on-one technology help appointments on request.
• Assist staff with developing and implementing project plans and timelines.
• Recruit interested community members to the project team.
• Engage with libraries, schools, nonprofits, and local agencies to extend service reach.
• Identify community needs and provide feedback to inform program development.
• Track service activities, participation, and community engagement data for evaluation.
